12 pm TALK: Population-level Intervention Research: The Markin Institute. Dr. Penny Hawe, Community Health Sciences and Director of the Markin Institute. The new Markin Institute at U of C will focus on developing capacity in population-level, preventive intervention research. The rationale and areas of concentration for 5 new research chairs will be outlined, along with plans for graduate course development, post doc funding opportunities and linkages strategies with departments and faculties.
