Participate in NSSE 2011 starting February 1

On Tuesday, February 1, all first-year and senior U of C students will receive an e-mail invitation to complete the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).

The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE, pronounced "Nessie") is a survey that measures students' levels of engagement with their institution. The information collected from NSSE is used to learn more about what the U of C is doing that is valuable to student success at the university, and to assess and improve on current and future undergraduate education.

Your answers will help shape the U of C experience

We know that initiatives in student engagement and student involvement must be directed by student feedback. This survey is your opportunity to provide us with your feedback.

NSSE results are extremely important to the U of C. Based on past survey results, we have implemented many new programs, opportunities and support mechanisms, ranging from the introduction of the Student Success Centre and its new academic planning advisors and career development specialists, to Student Success Seminars and enhanced leadership workshops, to the 4-Year Graduation Guarantee.
