Fall Convocation takes place on Nov. 12 in the Jack Simpson Gymnasium.

Fall convocation is next week

The University of Calgary’s fall convocation ceremonies will take place Thursday, Nov. 12 at 9:30 a.m. and at 2 p.m. Both ceremonies are held in the Jack Simpson Gymnasium in the Kinesiology Complex and are open to the public.

At the morning ceremony, degrees will be conferred for the faculties of environmental design, the Haskayne School of Business, kinesiology, law, medicine, the Schulich School of Engineering, science and graduate studies.

Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. and guests are requested to be seated by 9:25 a.m.

At the afternoon ceremony, degrees will be conferred for the faculties of communication and culture, education, fine arts, humanities, nursing, social sciences, social work and graduate studies.

Doors will open at 1 p.m. and guests are requested to be seated by 1:55 p.m.

Faculty members wishing to participate in the Academic Procession should register at senate.ucalgary.ca/procession by the end of today.
