Neuroscience PhD student earns prestigious health scholarship
Michael Galic is earning his PhD in the Department of Neuroscience in the Hotchkiss Brain Institute and he’s the recipient of the2009 Lionel E. McLeod Health Research Scholarship for his research on why infection and inflammation during early life can lead to the brain being more susceptible to seizures in adulthood.
