New online job portal goes live

Career Services is excited to announce the official launch of CareerLink, powered by Canadian company Orbis Communications Inc., a new career portal to connect University of Calgary students and alumni with employers.

The new system will facilitate a seamless interaction with the Co-Curricular Record (CCR) and Student Success Centre (SSC) sites, whose services are closely aligned with Career Services. In collaboration with Haskayne Career Centre, Schulich Career Centre, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Arts, CareerLink will also be used to enhance access to postings and appointments for students who have a co-op, internship or articling component to their program.

CareerLink supports Career Services’ values to be committed to demonstrating excellence through service, collaboration and community, as well as teamwork and trust. This exciting upgrade will continue to allow students, alumni and employers access to the same functionalities, but will optimize the efficiency of the online job services and enhance the user experience.
