USRP awards open research doors
Six students in the Faculty of Medicine’s Bachelor of Health Sciences program have won Markin Undergraduate Student Research Program awards providing opportunities to work with top researchers in health and wellness.
H1N1 shots available at SU Wellness Centre
With the closing of the Alberta Health Services H1N1 vaccination clinic on campus yesterday, the university’s SU Wellness Centre will have the H1N1 vaccine available on a walk-in or appointment basis on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning Dec. 16. The SU Wellness Centre, located on the third floor of MacEwan Student Centre, will be closed the week of Dec. 28.
UCQ to host Great Teachers Retreat
The University of Calgary—Qatar is hosting the region’s first Great Teachers Retreat, a seminar in support of excellence in teaching based on a grassroots movement known throughout North America.
