Take Two

MIRIAM RAMOS has been the executive assistant to the president for the last four years. “It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience working with Harvey Weingarten. I love working in a fast-paced environment and every morning when I come to work, I find a high-energy, fast-paced, passionate person ready to do what needs to get done. I can’t help but work as fast and as passionately as he does. The results make me smile.” She particularly enjoys contributing to and participating in the celebrations for leadership gifts to the university. Ramos has a large extended family (she became a grandmother for the first time on May 8) and a large circle of friends who keep her busy. “But with the kind of work I do, I treasure the quiet times I can spend reading, watching classic movies and travelling with my husband.”
