Harrison, Goldstein to field questions in open forum slated for Nov. 21

U of C Provost and Vice-President (Academic) Alan Harrison and newly appointed Vice-President (Research) Rose Goldstein are inviting staff, faculty and students to meet with them on Nov. 21 to learn more about what they do. 

They will discuss and answer questions on major new initiatives for academic programs, strategy for educational programs and research, multidisciplinary and engaged scholarship.

“I think this is a good opportunity for faculty, staff and students to learn about what we and our offices have to offer, have a chance to interact with us and a chance to have their voices heard,” says Goldstein. “My goal is that we have the chance to learn from each other in a productive dialogue.”

This “open forum” takes place Nov. 21 from 1 to 2 p.m. in Room A131 (Administration building). Coffee and tea will be served. Please RSVP to Nicole Ouellet at (403) 220-5321.

This is the second of several open forum sessions planned with Harrison and Goldstein.

Upcoming sessions will be held Jan. 16, 2008, Feb. 14, 2008 and March 12, 2008.
