Meet the Un-Intelligent Design team from Winnipeg, Manitoba

Max Hegel is in his seventh year teaching science at Elmwood High School. His science areas have included Grade 9 and 10 General Science and grade 11 and 12 Biology. His interest in science can be seen by his enthusiasm when teaching the subject to his class. A jack of all trades, he can fix or build practically anything. 

Grant Shaw has over thirty years experience as a teacher, producer, sound tech, light tech, event MC and writer, team member. Shaw serves as the producer/director/musician/actor and science stooge for the Unintelligent Design presentation. An English teacher by trade, he will invigorate and energize all audiences; without removing a single piece of clothing!
 
Kevin Zuk is an animated person who likes to use everyday situations and apply real life science to them. He can dazzle by simply being interesting and using everyday ideas to portray science as something more than boring formulas. A former English teacher in Japan, he brings a global perspective to his students. At 200 cm Kevin truly is our “Elmwood Giant.”

Carolina Nario: Five foot, one hundred pounds, Karate Black Belt 2nd Dan. What else needs to be said?  A Science/ Math wunderkind, Carolina demands excellence from herself and her students. During our performance, her scientific knowledge and her martial arts prowess will both be on display. KIAI!
