Chillin' for Charity

Oct. 31, 2012

Haskayne School of Business students and faculty will be jumping into freezing cold water, outside, in support of the United Way. JDC West Team Haskayne is holding their second annual Chillin’ for Charity fundraiser with teams and individuals dressed in their most ridiculous costumes.

Chillin' for Charity is a JDC West-wide initiative taking place at 12 of Western Canada’s top universities, to raise money for the United Way. It involves participants braving the elements to jump—as creatively as possible—into an icy cold pool of water... outside. Think Polar Bear Dip, but on campus, with funds raised supporting the United Way of Calgary and area.

JDC West is a business case competition dedicated to producing well-rounded business students with an emphasis on both academic growth and volunteering for the community.
