University of Calgary set to announce big news

In the University of Calgary’s 2012 Community Report to be delivered on Tues., Oct. 2, President Elizabeth Cannon will celebrate the university’s achievements and announce three new initiatives that will help the university achieve its Eyes High vision – to become one of Canada’s top five research universities by 2016, grounded in innovative learning and teaching and fully integrated with the community of Calgary.

What: Presentation of University of Calgary’s 2012 Community Report.

When: Tuesday, October 2, 2012

  • 11:45 am – Doors open and media set up
  • 12:00 pm – Formal program begins
  • 12:35 pm – Formal program ends
  • 12:40 pm – Media availability

Where: First Floor, MacEwan Hall, University of Calgary, 2500 University Drive NW.
