University of Calgary and Imperial Oil Foundation to announce major gift for STEM Education

On November 6, the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Education and the Imperial Oil Foundation will announce a major partnership supporting research into learning and teaching in each of the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—commonly known as STEM education.

The partnership will be celebrated with a hands-on demonstration of STEM in action at the Calgary Science School, where a grade four class will participate in a lesson on natural waste biodegradation.
