New venture competition heats up with $50,000 up for grabs

Would-be energy sector entrepreneurs and emerging energy tech companies have the chance to win big at the inaugural Energy New Venture Competition. A platform created by the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business and Innovate Calgary in partnership with PROPEL Energy Tech Forum, the competition will help advance emerging energy technology companies and concepts to the next level. Seventeen finalists will be vying for their share of nearly $50,000 in cash and in-kind prizes, Dragon's Den style, tomorrow.
