Campus to welcome students to residence

Aug. 30, 2012

Monday is no holiday for more than 250 student and staff volunteers as they help more than 2,000 new and returning University of Calgary students move their belongings into residence on Move-in Day.

“We’re excited to be welcoming our new incoming students to the University of Calgary and to welcome back our returning residents,” says Randy Maus, Director of Residence and Hotel Alma. “This is a significant moment in the lives of first-year students and their families and we strive to make this experience memorable and successful.”

Move-in Day is the prelude to Fall Orientation Week, where all new students are welcomed to campus. For more information on Fall Orientation Week, visit http://ucalgary.ca/orientation/
