Medical Science Specializations

The Medical Science Graduate Program offers training in a broad range of research areas related to Medical Science. These include studies in cellular and molecular medicine, anatomy and physiology at the organ, or tissue level, integrative biology, as well as surgery, telehealth and education.

Doctoral and Master of Science Degrees can be obtained under the following approved specializations: Biomedical Ethics, Cancer Biology, Diabetes, Endocrinology, Immunology, Genes and Development, Population Genomics, Physiology, Psychiatric Disorders, Smooth Muscle and Surgery.

In addition, there are six formal Training Programs which exist in the following specializations:

  4. Medical Education

  5. Molecular & Medical Genetics

  6. Mountain Medicine and High Altitude Physiology
