Letter of Permission: Faculty of Kinesiology students may be allowed Visiting Student status at another institution. Letters of Permission are not normally issued for sessions during which students are attending classes at the University of Calgary. In this circumstance, students should contact the Kinesiology Student Programs Office to request special consideration.
Keep in mind that the maximum number of courses from other academic institutions that can be applied towards a Kinesiology degree is 20 half-course equivalents (which includes courses covered by Letter(s) of Permission).

Make-up Exam Sessions Winter 2013: Feb. 13th - Apr. 12th, 2013
NOTE: There will be no sessions during Reading Break (Feb. 18-22) or on Friday, Mar. 29th (Good Friday).
Normally students will write exams with the class at times shown in the Course Outline. However, the Faculty of Kinesiology provides regularly scheduled Make-Up Exam Sessions to accommodate students unable to write mid-terms or quizzes, due to medical or other reasons deemed acceptable by the course instructor. Students must make arrangements with the course instructor to write a make-up exam with at least 48hrs notice. The instructor must complete the Make-up Test Form (PDF) and provide a copy of the examination to Holly Lywin at hlywin@ucalgary.ca.
Student Procedure:
- Students must have approval from their instructor and a Make-Up Exam form with a copy of the test submitted to Holly Lywin at least 48 hrs before the scheduled make-up test. Students who show up to write without the instructor first contacting the office with the appropriate information will not be allowed to write.
- Students must arrive at KNA 120 five minutes before their examination period. Students who arrive more than 10 minutes after their scheduled time will not be permitted to write.
- The student must provide photo identification.
