When IMAPSize first opens, it will ask if you would like to add a new account.

Click "Yes" to proceed.

Configure the account as follows:

Username: Your IT Account Username.

Password: Your IT Account password.

Server: imap.ucalgary.ca

Port: 993 (This is selected automatically when you click "Use Secure Connection")

Use Secure Connection (SSL): Checked.

Click "OK" to proceed.

In the "View" menu, choose "Options" and select the "Misc" tab.

Here you can change the "Root Backup Directory," which is the directory to which IMAPSize will archive your mail.

Now that the account is configured, click "Account" and then "Check Size."

The folders from your email account will populate the screen.

Folders taking up more than 20% of your quota will appear in red.

Folders taking up more than 10% of your quota will start to appear orange.

To backup your account, click "Account" then "Account Backup"

Select all of the folders you want to backup, or click "Select All."

Then Click "Backup."

The backed up email will be stored in the folder defined as the "Backup Folder." In the screenshot to the left, the folder has been underlined in red.

Please note that the backup process may take several minutes to complete.
