IEJLL Guidelines for Submission

Please Note:    The Faculty of Education, University of Calgary is undertaking a review of its operations. Because of that and the fact that a significant number of manuscripts are currently under review, no further manuscripts will be accepted until February 2010.

General Guidelines

The IEJLL is a refereed electronic journal intended for a broad audience of persons interested in leadership in learning. Our audience includes members of government education departments, school boards, school councils, faculties of education, parent organizations, and school staffs.

Submissions can take various forms:

  • articles on current quantitative or qualitative research
  • reports on innovative programs
  • position papers
  • reflective commentaries on published submissions

The Editorial Team invites submissions related to various Leadership in Learning issues:

  • school culture
  • accountability
  • politics in education
  • shared leadership
  • teacher professionalism
  • parent leadership
  • school reform
  • the role of business in education
  • alternative forms of schooling
  • teacher development
  • educational finance
