Other Trainee Recognition

• David Prescott successfully defended his PhD thesis on May 4th, 2012.  He will take up a CIHR/CAG/CCFC funded postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto in the labs of Drs. Stephan Giardian and Dana Philpott.

• Adam Ramzy (undergraduate student with Dr. Prasanth Chelikani) won the "best oral presentation award" in the "other" category (ie: not MSc or PhD) at the 3rd Canadian Obesity Student Meeting for his talk entitled "Ileal Transposition Surgery Produces Length Dependent Reduction in Body Weight and Improvements in Glucose Toloerance".
