Message from Bart Becker, Vice-President, Facilities

Facilities shares an important role in the university’s ambitious Eyes High strategic vision of becoming a top five Canadian research university, grounded in innovative learning and research and fully integrated with the communities we both lead and serve.

Our staff of more than 400 professionals offer diverse services to create a campus environment that both supports and energizes teaching, research and community to positively impact learning and discovery.

Facilities Development coordinates the execution of the university's Capital Program, comprising over $700 million of projects in the construction phase and more than $300 million in various stages of planning.

Facilities Management

Steven Gasser, Associate Vice-President

Facilities Management is responsible for all activities associated with the routine, day-to-day use, support and maintenance of buildings or physical assets, including custodial services, pest control, snow removal, grounds care and trash-recycle removal.
