The Wealth of Indian Nations

Tom Flangan, author of "Beyond the Indian Act: Restoring Aboriginal Property Rights," will discuss his work on the "wealth of Indian nations." His highly discussed book tackles subjects such as property rights, customary rights, certificates of possession, native legislation, court decisions, and the like. It will be highly interesting and likely highly controversial. The audience will have opportunity to question the speaker—and above all to enjoy a superb meal, excellent beer, and the talk, all for $45 per person.

All proceeds from the Big Rock University Lectures Series go to fund 8 University of Calgary undergraduate scholarships per year, each in the lecturer's home department.
