Description
The Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Code requires employers to provide first aid and have designated first aiders at work sites. In order to meet this requirement, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) provides first aid training at no cost to full-time permanent employees of the University of Calgary who are:
- Emergency Wardens/Senior Emergency Wardens and/or
- Designated as first aiders by their faculty/department/unit.
To Register: Faculty and staff whom meet the criteria indicated above and who are interested in attending the 2 day (16 hour) Standard First Aid course on November 16 th & 17 th are asked to contact EHS at ucsafety@ucalgary.ca by November 4th.
