Thanks to the hard work of editorial board members Frank Dance and Davis Foulger, EJournal is now linked with the Human Communication
Technology Division of the National Communication Association. 

EJournal will provide an additional outlet for publication by NCA members on topics of mutual interest.  Moreover, by linking with the largest and oldest national organization in the United States to promote scholarly activity in the area of human communication, EJournal will have access to a greatly enhanced flow of good manuscripts. 

The relationship has already been advertised in the HCTD newsletter, and plans are under way to add a paragraph to the letter of acceptance sent to individuals whose papers are accepted to the NCA convention
encouraging them to submit their final papers to EJournal.  Future possibilities include a issue of EJournal in December or January of each  year featuring the top papers from the NCA Conference.  EJournal may also set up, in cooperation with the HCTD, panels devoted to
issues in Electronic Text.
