Nominations open for 2012 President's Award
Students, faculty and staff are invited to submit nominations for the
2012 President's Award for Excellence in Student Leadership. The deadline for online nominations is March 2.
This award recognizes graduating students (undergraduate or graduate) who
are outstanding student leaders. Up to five awards are given at June
convocation.
Student leadership is key in shaping student experience at the
University of Calgary, says Ryan Lee, interim vice-provost (Students).
To recognize some of our best student leaders is important to further
foster leadership potential in all of our students.
Nominators must have consent from the students whose names are put
forward to the selection committee, which has representation from the
Students Union and the Graduate Student's Association. The committee
requires at least two letters of reference from students, faculty or
staff at the University of Calgary.
