An honorary degree is the university’s highest honour. We have awarded 392 remarkable individuals with honorary degrees. A handful of University of Calgary recipients include astronaut, Dr. Robert Thirsk, Lieutenant-General, Roméo Dallaire and actor and recording artist, Tom Jackson.
