Web Browser Test

Click here to make sure your browser has met the requirements for accessing web services at the University of Calgary.

Web Browser Version

Identify the "Version" of your browser software. In your menu bar, click on the drop down menu Help, and click on the bottom option, which should say About Internet Explorer, Netscape or Mozilla or Firefox. If the version number is less then the version number listed above, then you should consider upgrading your browser.

Web Browser Upgrade

To upgrade your browser, select the browser you prefer from the table below and click on the hyperlink to the free download Web site.

If you don't have a preference, then install MS Internet Explorer 8. Follow the downloading and installation directions provided from the Web site.

NOTE: Each of the hyperlinks below will open up a new browser window. Close the window when the download is done.
