 K

 Kananaskis Provincial Park

K-Country is a short, 40 min drive west of Calgary. It offers a vacation experience that rivals the better-known Banff, which is just 30 minutes further west.

 COP

Canada Olympic Park ("COP") was the site of ski jumping, freestyle skiing, bobsleigh and luge events during the 1988 Olympic Winter Games in Calgary and is located on Calgary's western edge.

Dino

Drumheller is near to Calgary and is like a place from another planet. Driving along in a typical prairie setting (farms, flat lands, pastures and crops), the ground suddenly drops away into a wild moonscape-like setting, where the bones of 65 million year old dinosaurs have been found.
