Introduction |
A comprehensive range of facilities is available to support teaching and research. Our Department has a tradition of collaboration and sharing which has enabled both well supported community facilities and sharing of resources located in group research and teaching areas. This area of our web site documents our facilities including some of the commonly shared instructional and research equipment. |
InstrumentationJan 2012. The UGI-400 NMR spectrometer located in Science A 219 will be temporarily decommissioned due to disruptions from heavy construction in surrounding area. We hope to relocate the NMR system to a new area in the future. Stay tuned for details. GC-MSD for Research: The Agilent GC-MSD (5975) currently located in Science A 219 has been shutdown and will be relocated in the near future. Exact location remains to be determined. Details will be released when known. GC-MSD for Teaching: The Agilent GC-MSD (5973) currently located in Science A 219 has been shutdown and will be temporarily packed and stored until heavy construction in surrounding area subsides. Please contact Michelle Forgeron (mamforge@ucalgary.ca or 403.801.1226) if you have concerns regarding this decision. |
