Installation of the Car

The UCDS was successfully installed on July 11, 2001. It took many hours, temporary demolition of a wall, and the fabrication and transportation of an I-beam from Exshaw to the campus. The vehicle was moved down the stairs of the Administration building and through a hole in the laboratory wall. The photo gallery briefly illustrates the labour-intensive process.
