Mission & Mandate

Mission
The Mission of CCSHE is to serve as a catalyst for increasing the understanding of, and the commitment and support for, learners and the learning experience in Higher Education in Canada . CCSHE will create opportunities for researchers, learners and educational leaders to explore and learn about new ideas and collaborative approaches to learning about learners and their experiences in both research and in practice.

Mandate
The Canadian Centre for the Study of Higher Education §         has a focused, collaborative research agenda and networks which are research, market and curiosity-driven and that address both theoretical and practical issues.

§         creates and sustains a network of educators and national and international partnerships that share a commitment to both creating and communicating information about learners in higher education and to providing resources for educational leaders on best practices.

§         creates a network for collaborative education and research among Canadian Higher education programs
