Before you start your research in the New Year, complete the Tri-Council's online tutorial. Effective January 2012, at the University of Calgary the certificate issued upon completion is a required supporting document when applying for ethics certification.

Protecting Human Research Participants online training consists of 7 modules, each addressing the principles used to define ethical research using humansand the regulations, policies, and guidance that describe the implementation of those principles. The entire course will take approximately 3 hours to complete.
