This area contains valuable information for PIs and Coordinators related to the administration of clinical trials. Please note that this area is still under development and new information will be added periodically.

Overhead

This is a reminder to ensure that all industry clinical health research study contracts will have 30% overhead applied.  Please note that only the Vice-President Research for the University of Calgary can waive overhead.  Therefore, if you obtain a waiver of overhead, please provide Clinical Trials-Legal Services the appropriate documentation from the VPR’s office so that your research study will be handled appropriately when the project code is created.

Budgets

Please note that it is not the responsibility of Clinical Trials-Legal Services to review the respective budgets associated to the contracts.  Researchers are responsible for ensuring the budgets accurately reflect all the necessary funding for the life cycle of the contract.

CCCR Forms

The most current versions of the Cheque Deposit and Project Code Closure forms are on the CCCR website at the "Forms" link in the left hand navigation or directly at http://ucalgary.ca/cccr/forms.  Please use these new forms and delete any old versions you may have on your desktop.
