Heritage Park - June 16th

Discover the old west, right in the heart of Calgary! Situated on 66 picturesque acres, Heritage Park invites you to step back and experience Western Canada from 1864-1914.

Heritage Park's skilled character interpreters bring the sights and sounds of Western Canada's past to life. Individuals can ride the rails on an authentic steam train, watch the Blacksmith at his forge, taste freshly baked bread from the Alberta Bakery, enjoy the thrills on the old fashioned midway or cruise the reservoir on the S.S. Moyie Paddlewheeler. Heritage Park offers something for everyone and is the perfect place to create your own history.

Canada Olympic Park - June 17th


As the flagship site of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games, Canada Olympic Park is situated 15 minutes from downtown, on the TransCanada Highway west, at the gateway to the Rocky Mountains. The Park operates as a multi-purpose competition, training and recreation area designed for year-round use by both athletes and the general public.
Experience the new multi-language Audio Tour of Canada Olympic Park. This ITEC-enabled, handsfree audio tour includes access to the Olympic Hall of Fame and Museum; the Olympic Bobsleigh Track; the Ice House - the only indoor training facility in the world for sliding athletes; the Ski Jump Tower - the highest vantage point in Calgary; and the summer Chairlift. Audio Tours are available in English, French, German, Japanese and Mandarin.
