Prospective Students

Graduate studies in the Biochemistry & Molecular Biology program at the University of Calgary will expose you to exciting and leading edge research in a number of different research areas, including molecular, cellular and developmental biology, biochemistry, genetics, bioinformatics and cancer and clinical research. To facilitate finding the faculty who work in a student’s field of interest, our department members are divided into several “streams”: Molecular and Developmental Genetics, Molecular Biology of Disease, Genomics Proteomics and Bioinformatics and Cell Signalling and Structure. Additionally our faculty are members of the Faculty of Medicine's research-based Institutes and Centres.
