Transitions:

Dr. Kangmin Duan and Dr. Carol Huang have recently joined the department as joint members. Welcome Carol and Kangmin!

Dr. Steve Robbins accepted the position of Director of the Southern Alberta Cancer Research Institute in the Faculty of Medicine

Dr. Leon Browder stepped down as Head of the Department and stepped up into the role of Deputy Director for the Alberta Children's Hospital Research Institute for Child & Maternal Health

Dr. Jonathan Lytton succeeded Leon Browder as the Head of the Department

Dr. John Chik, an Adjunct Assistant Professor in our Department, recently accepted a position as Assistant Professor at Mount Royal University in Calgary

Dr. Mark Bieda was the most recent member to join our Department in 2008. Mark's background is in bioinformatics, genomics, neuroscience and translational research. His current research is in epigenomics and tiling array data analysis.
