Bachelor of Health Science
Fraser Noseworthy was a freshman in the Bachelor of Health Sciences Program in the Health & Society major at the University of Calgary. His life was tragically cut short in an accident in 2005. Although, Fraser had been part of the Health Sciences Program for a few short months, he touched all of those with whom he had contact. Fraser was enriched by his international travels and so this scholarship program sustains his legacy for others.
Any students who are registered in the BHSc program are eligible to apply.
Each year, two scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $3,000 each for travel and expenses related to a project or research activity with the potential to influence health and wellness, including health care, in an international setting.
Priority will be given to projects or research activities that involve developing countries.
The experience is meant to result in a formal presentation, public report or peer-reviewed publication, which informs or influences health and wellness, or health care.
