Be the Change
Together our voices can advance equity - for everyone.
Event Details
In partnership with UN Women's HeForShe campaign, Be the Change is on Thursday, September 19 in the MacEwan Hall Ballroom. Doors open at 4:00pm and the program begins at 4:30pm.
What is HeForShe?
People everywhere understand and support the idea of gender equality. They know it’s not just a women’s issue, it’s a human rights issue. Launched by UN Women in 2014, HeForShe is a global solidarity movement that invites men and people of all genders to create a bold, visible and united force for gender equality.
HeForShe provides a systematic approach and targeted platform where a global audience can engage and become change agents for the achievement of gender equality in our lifetime, on our university campus and around the world.
