Mission
Our mission is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve University operations. The Office of the Internal Auditor helps the University accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Charter

Fraud Policy 

In accordance with the Fraud Policy, contact Peternela Scharf, Director of the Office of the Internal Auditor at (403) 220-4188 to report suspected fraudulent activity.  The University of Calgary has also contracted with ConfidenceLine, an independent service that puts callers in touch with trained professional assistants when help is needed with sensitive information in the workplace.  ConfidenceLine will forward reports of fraudulent activity to University Audit Services.  You may contact ConfidenceLine at 1-800-661-9675.
