World Wide Web Sources

All of the images, maps, documents and graphics that are used in this tutorial originate from other sites on the World Wide Web. Please do not download the images from this site. The images are either incorporated directly into the text, where readers can click on the small version to see the large version, or they are set up as links. The maps and documents, on the other hand, are all made into links. All links are identified by either a red or blue dot.

The red dot marks the mandatory links.
The blue dot identifies optional links.

Many of the links are internal links. That is, the images, maps and documents were exported from their host sites and imported directly within the tutorial. Internal links were created for three reasons: delays in contacting the host will be avoided; if the server is down or is not responding, the tutorial may still run; and readers will always remain within the parameters of the tutorial, which is particularly important for those who are less familiar with the WWW and its infinite linking capabilities. All other links are set up as external links that take the reader outside of the tutorial directly to the host site. This was done primarily in cases where the material was protected by copyright.

The internal images, maps, documents and graphics that are used in the tutorial are identified here. Click on World Wide Web Sources to access the list.
