The University of Calgary's flagship publication, U magazine, charts new territory by linking the university to the greater Calgary community and beyond. The magazine features the people who make the university what it is – our students, staff, faculty and alumni – and the issues that make the university relevant in the lives of Calgarians and Canadians. U provides well-written, approachable content with news and research highlights, profiles, indepth features and opinion columns, all designed to reflect the university's momentum, energy and excitement. U magazine engages Calgarians interested in their education and involved in their community.

U magazine is published three times a year (Winter [February], Spring [May] and Fall [September]) and is distributed to 110,000 alumni, students, donors, civic leaders and community members. The Winter issue is also mailed to all international alumni in 135 countries.
