U of C comes to Vancouver - May 14, 2008

On Wednesday, May 14 more than 70 U of C alumni and friends came together for a special reception hosted by President Harvey Weingarten at the Vancouver Rowing Club in picturesque Stanley Park.

Alumni Association President Tamara McCarron, Elizabeth Cannon, dean of the Schulich School of Engineering, Tom Feasby, dean of the Faculty of Medicine and other members of the U of C community also attended the event.

The Vancouver Community Outreach Choir entertained guests with an energetic musical performance. Alumni had the opportunity to reconnect with each other as well as hear from President Weingarten on all the exciting new developments at the University of Calgary.
