Welcoming our newest alumni

On Monday, Nov. 10, the sun shone brightly outside as the 1,300 students joined our alumni family of 130,000 at Fall Convocation in the Jack Simpson Gymnasium. Visual artist Alex Janvier and WestJet Airlines chairman Clive Beddoe received honorary degrees for their commitment to their profession and to their community. Kevin Boyles, BPE'88, MKin'98, and current athletics director at the U of C, and Cochrane Mayor Truper McBride, BA'04, were the Distinguished Graduates in each ceremony who led the graduating class through the Graduate's Pledge.
