Our newly-born U of C Houston Alumni Chapter took to the ice on Saturday, August 7, 2010. Alumni and friends enjoyed an afternoon of lively conversation, delicious Texas BBQ and curling at the Space City Ice Station.

U of C Alumni Stampede Event - July 9, 2010

The University of Calgary Alumni Association held its first Stampede event on Friday, July 9, 2010. Over 300 alumni, staff, and friends enjoyed a night of mingling, Chuckwagons, and the fantastic Stampede Grandstand Show.

Alumni Reception in Houston – April 15, 2010

Houston Alumni had the unique opportunity to hear a spectacular presentation by Astronaut Robert Thirsk BSc ‘76, Flight Surgeon Doug Hamilton MD ’91, PhD’91, and Mission Planner Laura Lucier BSc’99. Guests were thrilled to mix and mingle with the three NASA employees during the following reception.

U of C Alumni Brunch in Ottawa – March 20, 2010

Ottawa-based U of C alum gathered on Saturday March 20, 2010 to help cheer on the Dinos in the CIS Basketball championships. This was the first time since 1980 that Calgary competed in back-to-back national championships.

University of Calgary alumni gathered at the Raw Bar on February 4, 2010 for a sweetheart-themed networking event. Guests contributed over $1,000, which will be donated to the Alumni Scholarship and Bursary fund.

U of C faculty, staff and friends gathered on January 21 to celebratethe 2009/2010 alumni scholarship and bursary recipients, Robbie Burnsstyle. 64 students were honoured with a performance by SouthernAlberta's John Wort Hannam.
