Have a Day on U!

Get your 360-degree experience of the University of Calgary this spring. Explore campus, meet future classmates, have lunch on us and experience all that Calgary has to offer.

Schedule

9:00 a.m. - Morning Meet and Greet
This will be your time to register, get oriented, grab a cup of coffee and meet with current students, faculty and staff as well as other Have a Day on U students.

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (est.) - VIP Campus Experience
You will get a feel for the many things the University of Calgary has to offer and your day will include short visits to locations all over campus. You will have the opportunity to visit the following areas:

  • Faculty of Arts (Social Science, Humanities, Communication and Culture, Fine Arts)
  • Faculty of Nursing
  • Faculty of Kinesiology
  • Faculty of Science
  • The Haskayne School of Business
  • Admissions
  • Campus Recreation
  • Campus Security
  • Career Services
  • Dental Centre
  • Dino’s Athletics
  • French Language Instruction Program
  • Health Wellness Centre
  • Hotel Alma
  • Library Services
  • Native Centre
  • Residence Services
  • The Bookstore / Microstore
  • The Centre for International Students and Study Abroad
  • The Dining Centre
  • The Multi-faith Chaplains Centre

12:00 p.m. (est.) - Complimentary Lunch
At noon we will head to the Dinning Centre to take a break, relax and eat a delicious lunch. The best part is that it’s on us! We will provide you with a $10 meal voucher so that you can pick from some of the tasty food options offered at the Dining Centre.

What to bring?

Wear comfortable shoes. We will be doing a lot of walking! Bring along any questions that you may have.
