Early admission is a conditional offer of admission that is made before final grades are available. Early Admission is the primary route of admission for those applicants that require a study permit and/or are currently completing studies outside Canada and the USA. English Language Proficiency must be satisfied in order to receive Early Admission.
Students who are granted Early Admission will be able to register for courses during the initial registration period. All offers of Early Admission are conditional and subject to meeting the final admission averages and requirements for the program or the offer will be cancelled.
Applicants currently completing their final year will be considered for Early Admission on the basis of final or mid-term grades on five appropriate matriculation subjects from their current/final year of study. These results should be forwarded to the Recruitment and Admissions office directly by your school no later than May 1.
Students completing the U.S. high school curriculum, General Certificate of Education (GCE) system or the International Baccalaureate (IB) should refer to the appropriate sections for information on Early Admission requirements.
Final transcripts indicating the required average in specified matriculation courses has been maintained must be received by August 1.
Applicants currently attending a college or university will be considered for admission based on grades received in courses completed in the Fall semester of their current year and prior, as well as high school average, if applicable (see Competitive Admission Criteria for more information). Copies of high school credentials along with an interim college or university transcript should be forwarded to the Admissions Office no later than May 1. Detailed course outlines may be required to assess your college or university coursework.
Final transcripts indicating the required grade point average has been maintained must be received by June 30.
