Details of how to gain early admission as an IB student are available by clicking here.
1. Submit a self-report of all courses that you have completed, are currently taking or will be taking. (Do this only if you did not self-report these results when you first completed your application for admission.)
2. Make arrangements to have copies of both your high school and official IB transcripts sent to the University of Calgary Admissions Office by August 1st. This procedure varies from region to region. Please consult with your guidance counsellor or IB Coordinator for the procedure in your region.
3. Apply for residence and scholarships. These important applications must be completed early to ensure that you meet all deadlines. If you do not complete your residence application by April 30, 2011 we cannot guaranteed a space.
4. Review your information and application status on myUofC to ensure that documents have been received, and to get important news and updates.
5. Follow-up on any outstanding conditions for admission. Detailed instructions about dealing with outstanding items are outlined in the "Record of Application" sheet that accompanies the initial letter sent by the University in response to your application for admission.
6. Register for your courses. You'll receive a Registration Package, which will assist you in understanding the registration process. Advisors from Enrolment Services or from your faculty can also assist you with course selection and planning.
7. Participate in Fall Orientation Week, and get the chance to meet new people, become acquainted with your campus and meet members from your faculty.
8. Begin classes and start enjoying life as a student at University of Calgary!
