Help Promote the New GAT Agreement

The University of Calgary Graduate Students' Association (GSA) recently negotiated a new Graduate Assistantship agreement, GA(T). This is the agreement that governs how graduate students are paid for TAs, how many hours they are expected to work, etc.
Committee members will:
- Work with Faculty of Grad Studies (FGS) to design a GA(T) workshop
- Facilitate the workshop to DGAs and Departments
- Assess and evaluate GA(T) concerns as they arise
- Ensure compliance and participation of all departments
- Raise awareness to DGAs and Departments about the benefits of the GA(T)
- Explain the rationale and uses of the GA(T)
Interested applicants should submit a cover letter expressing their interest, qualification and potential for growth in this position, as well as a resume to GSA President, Franco Rizzuti, via pres@gsa.ucalgary.ca no later than June 26, 2011.
Short listed candidates will be contacting for an interview.
