University of Regina Research Conference; Call for Abstracts

December 5, 2011
Submitted by Paul Gauthier, Conference Chair Graduate and Undergraduate Research Conference,
University of Regina
.UofR

University of Regina Graduate Students Association is currently very busy planning our conference and it is shaping up to be another successful year.  All graduate students attending any institution within Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba are eligible to present at our conference, so we would like to invite your students to submit an abstract.

The University of Regina Graduate Students' Association wishes to make a general call for abstract for oral and poster presentations, exhibits, performances and demonstrations.  Abstracts (approximately 150-200 words in length) can be submitted to the University of Regina Graduate Students Association e-mail at urgsa@uregina.ca

The primary aim of the conference is to provide graduate, and upper-level undergraduate students of all disciplines with an opportunity to highlight and showcase their research activities and creative works with members of the academic community (local and otherwise) as well as with those within the local community (local businesses, organizations, and the general public).

The last day to submit an abstract is January 16th 2012.  It is important to note that abstracts can focus on any research or creative work, and submissions can be made in either English or French.

Attached is a poster which conveys much of this information.

If students have any questions or wish to send in a abstract please feel free to e-mail urgsa@uregina.ca
