Defend Your Thesis Workshop
Tuesday May 29 12-1:30 pm, Wellness Centre Classroom
Preparing to Defend Your Thesis: Strategies to Manage Your Anxiety. Thinking about and preparing for your thesis defense can provoke significant anxiety. Carolyn Claire, R. Psych, will present information assisting you to increase your understanding of your anxious response and identify opportunities for change. The workshop will provide you with an opportunity to learn and try out strategies to reduce anxiety as you approach your date of defense, as well as to manage anxiety during this crucial event in your graduate educational process. This is a popular workshop, so make sure to register early! The workshop will be facilitated by Carolyn Claire, a Registered Psychologist. Please bring your own lunch. There is no food offered in this workshop.
