Interested in a career in teaching? Apply to join the Concurrent (Direct Entry) Program in Education

In the Fall of 2011, the Faculty of Education, in collaboration with the Faculties of Arts, Kinesiology, and Science, will initiate a 5 year Concurrent (Direct Entry) Program. Upon completion students will graduate with two degrees: a Bachelors degree in their chosen academic field, and a Bachelor of Education.

Current U of C students who have completed fewer than three full-course equivalents (18 units) and have a strong record of high-school and university achievement are eligible to apply for the Concurrent Program.

Students who have completed more than three full-course equivalents are invited to consider the Consecutive Program that involves a two-year Bachelor of Education after the completion of an applicable degree from the Faculties of Arts, Kinesiology or Science.

Learn more about the Concurrent (Direct Entry) Program at the Enrolment Services website.

Information about Bermuda Shorts Day

Congratulations, classes are almost over!  Bermuda Shorts Day festivities, organized annually by the Student Union, and taking place in the BSD gardens, from noon to 5:00 p.m. in Lot 32, is the only University sanctioned BSD event on Friday, April 15.  More information about the afternoon's events and entertainment, as well as tips for celebrating responsibly, is available on the Students' Union website.

Please remember that students are always expected to behave in a responsible and law-abiding manner both on and off-campus.

Organizing and participating in non-sanctioned events on Friday, April 15 could result in violation of the University’s Non-Academic Misconduct Policy. You can find more information about the policy in the university calendar.

Have fun, stay safe, and congratulations on completion of the academic year.
